A few days ago whilst window shopping and trying out the new tech gadgets at the different stores in the Gateway Theatre Of Shopping, I came across this pretty good sale @ the Samsung Store. The Samsung Galaxy Gear Smartwatch was marked down to just below R1400! So I’ve finally decided to check out what the craze is about regarding the ‘smartwatch generation’ and get it for myself…
Thus far, the experience has been pretty mind blowing! Firstly it has an excellent screen with amazing recording quality. The notifications on seem on par compared to the phone in regards to timing. Very easy to setup and use. Battery lasted me just under 3 days from a full charge – which is pretty damn good!
I’ve paired up the Smartwatch with my Samsung Galaxy S5 – Works Perfectly! Some of the awesome features the Tizen update has brought include being able to check your social media notifications such as BBM, Whatsapp & Facebook.
It’s way better than I expected it to be. Pretty slick design, great quality & does way more than you’d expect it to do!
Oh and yes… It behaves as a normal WATCH when you want it too 😛
